What Changed
Maryland revised regulations related to:
- Price filings (COMAR 03.02.01.05)
- Distributorship appointments (COMAR 03.02.01.12)
These updates took effect March 1, 1997.
Distributorship Changes
The updated regulations:
- Reduce the time required to change distributorships to 30 days
- Provide a more structured process for transferring brand distribution
These changes are intended to support orderly transitions between distributors.
Price Filing Updates
Revisions to price filing rules:
- Improve how amended filings are handled
- Support more efficient updates to pricing information
Access to Price Filing Data
Price filing data is now available in a new format:
- CD-ROM format (replacing microfiche)
- Includes monthly price postings
- Available by subscription
