Businesses in Maryland must report and pay applicable taxes through the Comptroller of Maryland.

Visit the Comptroller’s MD Tax Connect system, which is used to:

  • File tax returns
  • Make payments
  • Manage tax accounts

Who handles what

  • Comptroller of Maryland → Tax collection, reporting, and payments
  • ATCC → Licensing, regulation, and enforcement

ATCC does not manage tax accounts or process tax payments. All tax-related services are handled by the Comptroller.
