The ATCC wishes everyone a Happy Halloween! The ATCC wants to alert parents and guardians of certain illicit and unregulated products containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that may appear similar to consumer goods or otherwise appeal to children. . The ATCC, in the course of our enforcement activity, have confiscated illicit products containing THC that may mimic or appear similar to other commercially available consumer goods. 

The Appellate Court of Maryland has overturned a prior injunction, allowing the ATCC to expand statewide enforcement against unlicensed intoxicating THC retailers.

The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission (ATCC) has received inquiries from agencies and stakeholders across Maryland regarding the reporting requirements necessary to initiate administrative action against tobacco retailers who sell to individuals under the age of 21.

The ATCC is excited to announce that in May and June of this year we are making several enhancements to our operations, including delivering licenses and permits by email, and allowing online applications and payments. These changes are intended to reduce the use of paper and the need for applicants to mail documents and payments to the ATCC.
