What to Expect and How to Prepare

If you’ve been notified of an ATCC administrative hearing, this page will help you understand the process, prepare your materials, and know what to expect.

Administrative hearings address licensing, compliance, and enforcement matters. Preparing in advance will help you present your case clearly.

Prepare for Your Hearing

Carefully read the date, time, location, and reason for the hearing.

What to Expect During the Hearing

During the hearing, you may:

  • Respond to evidence presented
  • Question witnesses
  • Present your own evidence

Then:

A decision will be issued, typically within 30 days.

Be prepared to clearly explain your position and provide supporting documentation.

Possible outcomes

  • Dismissal
  • Suspension, revocation, or denial
  • Penalties or reprimands
  • Return of seized property

If you do not attend, a decision may be made without you.
