Legal Interpretive Guidance

The Legal and Legislative Division issues interpretive guidance to explain how ATCC understands and applies laws passed by the Maryland General Assembly. This guidance helps businesses and the public clearly understand regulatory expectations for alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis compliance.

Submitting Underage Tobacco Violations

ATCC accepts underage tobacco enforcement cases from state and local health and law enforcement agencies and reviews them for administrative action. These cases are evaluated and processed for hearings to ensure consistent enforcement of Maryland tobacco laws.

Fire Safe Cigarette Submissions
